Our UNESCO Presentations in 2017

SRA actively contributed to four UNESCO conferences in 2017. They provided an ideal platform to disseminate SRA’s goals and activities, whilst offering valuable networking opportunities for us to expand our footprint. The conferences that we attended also enabled us to meet with delegations of different Ministers, providing unparalleled access to engage with leading health policy makers.

We presented at the following four conferences:

  1. UNESCO MOBILE LEARNING WEEK, February 22 – 26, 2015, Paris, France Title: From Science Education Workshops to a trial with Raspberry Pi Computers in Freetown, Sierra Leone

  2. UNESCO MOBILE LEARNING WEEK, March 20-24, 2017, Paris, France Title: From Science Education Workshops to a mobile DIY educational TV station

  3. UNESCO International Forum on ICT and Education, July 10 & 11, 2017, Qingdao, China Title: From Science Education Workshops to a mobile DIY educational TV station

  4. UNESCO International Symposium and Policy Forum, Bangkok Thailand Cracking the Code: Girls’ Education in STEM, August 28 – 30, 2017 Title: From Science Education Workshops to a Peer-mentorship programme for females in Sierra Leone
