We are very happy to announce that SRA has recently received a two-year grant (2018 to 2020) from the Royal Society to initiate a collaborative research project to support the tuberculosis research group at the Medical Research Council (MRC) at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine (LSHTM) in The Gambia. The project is in collaboration with the Blundell Research group in Cambridge and the West African collaboration network led by Dr Assan Jaye at the Medical Research Council in The Gambia.

More information about the partnership between The Gambia’s MRC and LSHTM can be found here: https://www.lshtm.ac.uk/newsevents/news/2018/mrc-units-gambia-and-uganda-join-london-school-hygiene-tropical-medicine.
